Short things about me
Hi again, I'm Hien!
I'm a math kid at Hanoi–Amsterdam with a curiosity that rarely stays in one place. One day, I'm buried in economic models and flood maps; the next, I'm knee-deep in rice paddies, building a financial simulator, or counting eight beats on a dance floor.
I've always been fascinated by how things work, but even more by why they matter to people. That's what draws me to economics: the choices we make, the resources we share, and the invisible costs behind everyday decisions. I believe numbers can tell powerful stories, especially when we remember the people behind them.
I'm still figuring out where all these interests will take me. For now, I'm happiest asking too many questions, turning ideas into experiments, learning from things that don't work, and occasionally explaining the world through choreography.
Usually with a pen in hand, a slightly overambitious plan, and far too much A4 paper.
